Very sad and beautiful picture. I love the lighting tone, and the scratchy effects on it.

this is almost borderline photo-manipulation / expressive photography ... im glad you had the better sence to upload it as a manip ... anyways ... this is an excellent image ... although the tone right underneath the eye isnt analogous with the rest of the sepia tone, it still works for this image .... man those scratches are uncanny ... and i really like the transitional background fading from darks to lights it really brings the focal point to the face ... good matting as well, some people have a problem with matte's that complement the image ... all in all a favorite
